More information: This 3 CD collection celebrates Roger Waters’ artistry as a live performer, capturing the passion, precision and theatrical scope of his concerts. Featuring three definitive live broadcast recordings from his solo career, this new set presents some of his most powerful performances that demonstrate the scale, intensity and enduring vision that have made his shows legendary.
CD 1 features a show from Waters’ ‘The Pros And Cons of Hitch Hiking Tour’, recorded at the Rosemont Horizon, Illinois, on 26 July 1984. Featuring a touring band that included Eric Clapton on guitar, this concert showcases the new album in its entirety alongside a selection of Pink Floyd classics.
CD 2 features the complete show Roger Waters performed at the Colisée de Québec, Canada, on 7 November 1987, as part of his North American tour in support of Radio K.A.O.S. (1987). Matching the grandeur of his previous tours, the set offered a vibrant blend of new material and Waters-penned Pink Floyd classics, reimagined with a funk-laden edge that lent the songs a fresh feel.
CD 3 presents the rehearsal tapes for Waters’ elaborate and legendary ‘The Wall – Live in Berlin’ show, recorded shortly beforehand with his Bleeding Heart Band. These recordings offer a rare chance to hear history taking shape in real time, as the group prepare for one of the most seismic events in live music history.
