Based around retellings of horror stories and poetry by Edgar Allan Poe, musicians featured include Arthur Brown, John Miles, Terry Sylvester, Ambrosia, Pilot, and Francis Monkman.
2 LP heavyweight, 45 RPM Audiophile edition. The first pressing comes with a limited numbered Obi-strip. This edition was cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road, September 2024 on a customised Neumann VMS 80 lathe at half-speed using high-resolution audio transfers taken from the original master tapes for the 2016 remaster. Pressed at Optimal, Europe's premium pressing plant.
Includes a replica of the original 8-page booklet plus a printed insert featuring quotes from Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson.
