More information: "The only way I could approach this album was to first pick the opening song, listen to it, feel what I wanted to hear next, and then keep repeating that process. I felt that far too many songs would be left out of the list I had in front of me. So I gave up looking at the list and just followed my instincts. I have to say, it was both a joyful and tearful experience—the mix of nostalgia and the themes of the songs was sometimes overwhelming. So here it is.
