The album format harks back to the classic story-based concept albums of the 1970s. Robert Reed (Magenta, Chimpan A, Cyan, Sanctuary) is joined by an all-star cast of performers. The original album was releases in 2012 and was welcomed with rave reviews.

This ‘Director’s Cut’ has been expanded, remixed and re arranged with three new tracks and now has a running time of 77 minutes. It also features new guest contributions including Peter Jones (Camel, Tiger Moth Tales, Cyan) and Les Penning (Mike Oldfield).

Beside the musical contributions of Robert Reed on bass guitar, piano, acoustic and electric guitars he invited a huge cast of excellent musicians and singers. Centre stage of the album is the stunning vocals of Steve Balsamo (Jon Lord, Superstar, Chimpan A) and Angharad Brinn (Sanctuary, Cyan, Chimpan A).

Drums are played by Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree, Pineapple Thief), providing the album with a wonderful groove.

The guitar parts are performed by some incredible players including Steve Hackett, Nick Barrett (Pendragon), Neil Taylor (Tears For Fears, Robbie Williams), Jakko Jackzyk (King Crimson), Francis Dunnery (It Bites), Chris Fry (Magenta), John Mitchell (Arena, Frost*, It Bites), and BJ Cole (ex-Elton John, ex-David Gilmour).

On Chapman stick we hear Nick Beggs (Kajagoogoo, ex-Steve Hackett, Steve Wilson Band), while Mel Collins (King Crimson, ex- Camel) contributed on sax. Undoubtedly one of the most important musicians is Troy Donockley (Nightwish, Bad Shepherds) as his parts performed on the Uilleann pipes and the whistles provided the album a certain melancholic feel and above all a distinct Irish-Gaelic atmosphere.

There are also contributions from The English Chamber Choir conducted by Guy Protheroe, the London Session Orchestra conducted by Dave Stewart (Egg, Hatfield and the North, National Health) and renowned opera singers like Rhys Meirion and Shan Cothi.
