The iO Pages magazine is dedicated to progressive symphonic rock and related genres such as electronic music, jazz rock, fusion, prog metal, progressive pop, space rock, gothic and psychedelic rock. The magazine is written in Dutch and packed with information including interviews, reviews, news, and features.
Prog rock has its roots in the seventies with bands such as Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, ELP, Kansas, Saga and Camel. Well-known names that took over the relay baton include: Marillion, Pallas, Jadis, IQ, Pendragon, Dream Theater, The Flower Kings, Spock's Beard, Riverside, Ayreon, Pain of Salvation, Within Temptation and Porcupine Tree.
