More information: Isotope’s three studio albums remastered and available on a 3CD box set with bonus tracks (drawn from a 1973 performance for BBC Radio 'In Concert', a 1974 session for BBC TV’s Old Grey Whistle Test and four remixes from 2001).
Formed by gifted guitarist Gary Boyle, at various points the band included Hugh Hopper, Jeff Clyne, Brian Miller, Nigel Morris, Laurence Scott, Dan K. Brown, Zoe Kronberger and Frank Roberts.
Illusion (1974) - regarded as a Jazz Rock classic - was produced by Family member Poli Palmer.
