More information: Selling England by the Pound, released in September 1973, marked a breakthrough moment for Genesis both commercially and critically. An international tour supporting the album began on 19 September 1973 in Paris, France, and consisted of 112 shows over three legs across Europe and North America, before concluding on 20 January 1974 in London.
