More information: The fourth Peter Gabriel album was released in September 1982, and hit No. 6 in the UK and No. 28 in the US. The second single, ‘Shock the Monkey’, became Gabriel's first top 40 hit in the US, reaching No. 29. To handle American distribution, Gabriel signed with Geffen Records, which - initially unbeknown to Gabriel - titled the album Security to differentiate it from his first three records, all simply titled Peter Gabriel. Gabriel's 1982 tour lasted a full year and became his first to make a profit. Certain recordings from the tour were released on Gabriel's debut live release, Plays Live.
One of the finest shows of the tour however, his gig at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre, bizarrely made no contribution to the live record, despite it being broadcast across local FM Radio. This notable omission is now redressed however on this superb CD, which contains the full concert in question, released here for the first time in its entirety.
