Canadian progressive rock duo Crown Lands have steadily emerged as one of the genre’s most ambitious modern voices, and in May 2026 they returned with their most demanding and fully realised work to date - ‘Apocalypse’. On this album, the band collaborated with famed producers Nick Raskulinecz and David Bottrill (both known for their work with Rush), whose contrasting approaches informed the albums creation.
Conceptually, Apocalypse is designed as a complete, album sides narrative experience, crafted with the classic album format in mind and unfolding as a cohesive story set in the same universe as their 2023 album Fearless.?At the heart of the record lies the 19-minute title track, a sprawling epic that anchors the record both musically and narratively.
Now ‘Apocalypse’ is released arrive as a 2-disc deluxe edition, including the original album plus an additional disc containing the 3-track ‘Casting Stones’ EP, as well as 5 live tracks, including an expansive performance of the album’s title track which sees the band bolstered by two additional musicians.
Limited 2 CD edition in 6-panel digipak with 20-page booklet.
