More information: Having originally split as a trio in 1979, in 1985 Keith Emerson and Greg Lake formed Emerson Lake & Powell, with former Rainbow drummer Cozy Powell. Carl Palmer declined to participate in a reunion at this time as he was busy with commitments to the band Asia. This new threesome was short lived however, and fell apart after one album.

But in 1991, the original ELP reformed and issued a 1992 comeback album, Black Moon. The band’s 1992/93 world tours were successful, culminating in a performance at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles in early 1993.

On 31st July 1992, ELP performed at Waterloo Field, in Stanhope, New Jersey, where they put on a superb show which was recorded for live broadcast and is now presented on this new CD release.

As a bonus track, an interview the three guys gave to Barry Roskin Blake in 1992, when they spoke about their reunion, their new album and the tour from which this performance comes, is also included.
