Review: They started working on their songs drawing inspiration from different musical genres and bands as Queen, Arena, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden and Rush, all the same trying to define a peculiar style and sound. In 2002 they welcomed singer Alessio Brunetti and drummer Davide La Rosa. The following year they recorded and published their first album "Leading far from a mistake". In 2004 Andrea and Alessio left the band and their place was taken respectively by Andrea Torretta and Davide Merletto. Then with renewed strength they began composing more mature and polished songs, with greater accuracy and attention to details. The band contacted professional classical musicians and the well-known vocalists Roberto Tiranti (Labyrinth) and Alessandro Corvaglia (La Maschera di Cera) to record some sections. In 2007 Daedalus went in contact with Roland Grapow, former guitarist in Helloween and founder of Masterplan, who mixed the tracks and gave the band a well defined sound.

Review: Dante was originally a studio project, but soon evolved into a full performing band, as the first studio tracks turned out to be very promising. The debut album 'The Inner Circle' (2008) was very well received by both critics and prog lovers.

Their current release shows the band compose and perform heavy Progressive Rock at its best. 'Saturnine' features beefy riffing, astounding melodies, huge orchestrations as well as intimate moments, culminating into the epic nineteen minutes closing track 'Vanessa'.

Review: A Time Of Shadow is Dead Heroes Club's second independently produced album, has a cover by official Tolkein illustrator Ted Nasmith, and is a well-crafted and elegant work of classic progressive rock. With a cursory listen it is abundantly clear where DHC finds its musical inspiration; the blood of Genesis, Yes, King Crimson, Tull, Pink Floyd and others floods their veins. While the music is superbly composed, Dead Heroes Club is blessed with intelligent lyrics thanks to lead vocalist, lyricist and playwright Liam Campbell. Within the musical composition, the emphasis seems three-fold: melody converging with Campbell's vocals, a healthy dose of keyboards especially reminiscent of old school Hammond organ, and a developed structure combining varied movements and tempos over an often atmospheric and mysterious foundation.

Review: Demians is the brainchild of Nicolas Chapel (31), who played all the instruments himself on the highly praised debut 'Building An Empire' (2008). The album received a surprisingly positive echo in the press and among his fellow musicians. After its release he went on tour with Marillion, Anathema and Porcupine Tree.

All his life Chapel had been an introverted loner. For the brand new 'Mute' album Chapel wanted ‘everything to mute', hence the album title. He wanted to find a room, close the door and see nobody. He wanted to go back to why he had started making music in the first place. A 'must have' for lovers of Porcupine Tree but will be appealing to all prog lovers too!
