This double album features over 130 minutes of acoustic live performances from around the world, as well as a selection of never before heard demos, bonus tracks and interview footage. In the build up to the release of ‘She - the rock opera’, songwriter/keyboard player/singer Clive Nolan alongside singer Agnieszka Swita performed around 30 concerts in countries such as England, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Poland, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Canada. ‘Journey’s End’ features a
collection of moments from these performances. These live tracks also feature some great guest appearances: familiar ‘She’ including MarkWestwood (guitar) and Christina Booth (voice), as well as new friends like Claudio Momberg from ‘SETI’ (keyboards) in Chile and Sebastian Medina from ‘William Gray’ (guitar) in Argentina.

This double album is a great testament to all the musical journeys and experiences that Nolan and Swita enjoyed as they spread the word about ‘She’. Beyond the live material, there is also a collection of demos that were made over the past few years - interesting to see how the songs developed for their final versions on ‘She’. The bonus songs include a track that was never used in the end, and the specially written ‘Journey’s End’, featuring cello from Hugh McDowell (ex ELO). Finally there is a short interview with Nolan and Swita, giving us a little more insight into the world of Caamora. For people who have enjoyed these acoustic shows over the past few years, or for fans of ‘She’, this is a perfect companion… a musical journey.

Review: Here is a new and very exciting band from Sweden. They play their own kind of prog music with a very personal and honest touch. I'm instantly reminded of acts like The Ark (Sweden), Tomas Di Leva, Rupert Hine, Marillion and David Bowie. Good melodies presented in a different, yet beautiful soundscape. The production is intriguing to say the least and some of the keyboard arrangements are among the best I've ever heard. I can assure you that this band will be talked about in the future. Review: The long-awaited debut solo album by Magenta front woman Christina, who has co-written all 10 tracks with long-time collaborator and multi-instrumentalist Rob Reed (Magenta, Trippa, Chimpan A) who also mixed and produced the album. Other guests on the album include John Mitchell (It Bites, Frost), Steve Balsamo (The Storys, Chimpan A), Troy Donockley (Barbara Dickson, the Bad Shepherds) and Chris Fry (Magenta), with a wonderful remix of 'Deep Ocean' by Jem Godfrey (Frost). Says Christina of the album: "Although it’s not Prog, it’s pretty varied and I hope that Magenta fans will find plenty to like. It’s certainly been a labour of love, and I really believe it’s the finest set of songs I’ve ever written". Varied it certainly is, from the acoustic, gospel-tinged opener 'Free' to the progressive pop of 'Immortality', and the dramatic balladry of 'Tales of Tales of Broken Hearts', not to mention the bluesy swagger of 'Do or die' or the smooth, jazzy 'Deep Ocean'. These are songs that are immediate yet full of depth, beautifully performed by the Cardiff-based singer songwriter. Christina also talks about the heartfelt subject matter of the album: "All of the songs look at the up and downs of human relationships. Review: Collage are one of the most important bands on the Polish prog rock scene. Since the release of their debut album Basnie (1990) they have managed to record albums which were groundbreaking for Polish progressive rock!

Collage albums were released worldwide by such labels as Subteranea Records in Italy, Apollon in Japan and Roadrunner Records in Japan and Holland. The band played innumerable gigs and gave many performances at very prestigious music festivals. They played in front of a 50.000-people audience at the charity concert 'Let The World Be Good For Them' with Uriah Heep as the headliner. They also supported Love Like Blood and played a couple of enthusiastically received gigs in Holland, Sweden and Germany. The band officially disbanded in 2003 but still remains extremely popular among the fans of progressive rock.

The members of Collage formed two new bands - Believe (Mirek Gil, Tomek Rzycki, Przemek Zawadzki) and Satellite (Wojtek Szadkowski, Robert Amirian, Krzysztof Palczewski), both still active.

Review: Having long since been quietly allocated their place in the where are they now archives of prog, it is with the greatest of pleasure that I can report that Comedy of Errors have released their first new album in well over 20 years. The core of the line up which recorded their 1988 eponymous album reconvene, including vocalist Joe Cairney, keyboards player Jim Johnston and guitarist Mark Spalding. Johnston writes and arranges all the songs here, but the three plus Bruce Levick on drums gel together as if their last studio collaboration was but a few months ago. The band themselves see this as a debut album, not because they wish to turn their backs on their legacy, but because this is very much a new beginning for what will hopefully become a highly successful rebirth.

Still rooted mainly in the neo-prog (the album publicity prefers 'post prog') style they adopted all those years ago, there is an intrinsic confidence to 'Disobey' which underpins a highly creditable set of songs climaxing in the four part 26 minute epic 'The student prince'.

It really does seem quite remarkable that 23 years after the release of their previous album, Comedy of Errors should reappear. What is even more remarkable though is that they should return with an album which by any standard is a magnificent achievement. If 'Disobey' and the launch gig where the band played live together for the first time in over 20 years are anything to go by, Comedy of Errors time has finally arrived. [ProgArchives]

Review: Cosmograf is a progressive rock project lead by Robin Armstrong, a multi instrumentalist musician from Waterlooville nr Portsmouth UK. The sound is rooted in 70s classic rock with a contemporary and progressive twist.

'When Age Has Done Its Duty' is a superb concept album, and was written and produced by Robin Armstrong, with drums recorded and engineered by Rob Aubrey (Transatlantic/ Big Big Train/ Spocks Beard) at Aubitt Studios, where the CD was also mastered. The 8 track, 1 hour long release is a concept album based around the trials of the ageing process, drawing on memories of family past. Review: This is pretty wild stuff. Layer after layer of keyboards, two drummers, bass, guitar and vocals doing darkly melodic prog with a Peter Hammill-meets-prog-funk in spots. I love it! A song like Take-off has a little bit reminiscent of Hammill, Yes, Camel and Zappa all in one piece. You own it to yourself to get Gaze. It's a no-brainer folks! (Progression Magazine)

Review: Whilst in the past, influences from Twelfth Night and Pink Floyd have been noticed, Cross has grown, and today we find a decent amount of Yes and Genesis elements in their music. Especially in "White Lies, Dark Truth" the keyboards sound enormously like Tony Banks during his Wind and Wuthering period with Genesis. Then again "Deep" sounds a bit like "Back In New York City" from Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, whilst the repetitive pattern of "In A Question Mark" contains a fair share of Yes. The music on this CD is the very best the band has ever produced. Truly a wonderful and surprising album! (Progressive World)

Review: The Lost Broadcasts are a series of DVD sets featuring performances that have rarely been seen since the original transmission on German television, in some cases more than forty years ago. Some of the artists featured within the series are legendary and these "Lost" performances will be a fine addition to any music fans collection. The series covers a number of styles and genres however all of the performances are of a high calibre

The original line up of Curved Air first came together in early 1970 when Sonja Kristina, formerly a member of the cast of the stage musical Hair and briefly of the Strawbs following the departure of Sandy Denny met up with classically trained violinist Daryl Way and keyboardist Francis Monkman. The band, which would go on to be described as a progressive rock band played a mix of rock music with classical influences courtesy of Way and Monkman. The band were also famous for releasing their debut album Air Conditioning as a picture disc, one of the first British rock albums to be released commercially as a picture disc. The album also included the popular track Vivaldi. All this combined with a commercial sense combined in the hit single Back Street Luv from the bands second album entitled "Second Album"

Various members have come and gone over the first six years of the bands existence and former members include Ian Eyre, Eddie Jobson, Phil Kohn, Mike Wedgewood and Tony Reeves. The one constant throughout the bands existence was and remains vocalist Sonja Kristina. Other long term members include violinist Daryl Way and keyboardist Francis Monkman. Another key member was Florian Pilkingto-Miksa who along with Sonja Kristina remains in the current line up of Curved Air.

This DVD contains three separate sessions with two from 1971. The first set from March 1971 featured three tracks, Vivaldi, It Happened Today and Propositions. All three tracks come from the Air Conditioning album. The next session filmed by the band came in September 1971 when the band would record two sessions just two days apart on the 20th and 22nd of September. Two versions of Back Street Luv were recorded on this day along with the extended Piece of Mind both tracks coming from the bands biggest selling album Second Album. The drummer on these sessions was not the bands regular drummer but a session drummer Barry de Souza who would subsequently play with the likes of Lou Reed, David Essex, Jeff Beck and Kate Bush.

Review: A marvellous opportunity to investigate some ‘work in progress’ recordings by Curved Air, once thought lost in the archives. ‘Lovechild’ is the seventh studio album from the progressive rock group, based on previously unreleased material recorded in London during July 1973 and intended as the follow up to their ‘Air Cut’ album, but it wasn’t released until 1990. The line up has Eddie Jobson on keyboards and violin together with Kirby Gregory on lead guitar and Florian Pilkington-Miksa on drums. Sonja Kristina is the lead vocalist and she contributes some beautiful compositions, notably the title track ‘Lovechild’, ‘Seasons’ and ‘The Dancer’. Eddie Jobson is heard on piano on ‘Paris By Night’, his farewell showing with Curved Air before joining Roxy Music. Kirby contributes ‘The Flasher’, his last contribution before leaving to join Stretch. ‘Lovechild’ is an important addition to Curved Air’s legacy of albums and shows how the band was always on top creative form, even during a period of change and upheaval.

Review: One of the sexiest sounds in rock is the combination of Sonja Kristina’s beautiful vocals and Darryl Way’s exotic electric violin. They came together in Curved Air in and created one of the most dynamic progressive rock groups of the Seventies. ‘Midnight Wire’ was first released in 1975 and features a later version of the group with the highly gifted Stewart Copeland on drums, who would later go on to fame and fortune with The Police. This seven track CD comprises a range of material mostly written by lyricist Norma Tager and Darryl Way and includes Sonja Kristina’s incisive song ‘Woman On A One Night Stand’. With informative sleeve notes by Chris Welch that tells the story of the group, together with insightful comments from Sonja Kristina. As the new Prog Rock revival gains momentum, so fans are itching to hear the best of the original pioneer groups, and this sought after 1975 album provides a fine example of Curved Air in action.

Review: 'Phantasmagoria’ was the third album from the original Curved Air, first released in 1972. It was recorded during a period of change and upheaval, with at least one departure from the line up and internal debate about their musical direction. Nevertheless, the music remains of the highest order as befits a group that made such an enormous impact on the progressive rock scene.
Vocalist supreme Sonja Kristina is heard on her compositions as ‘Marie Antoinette’ and ‘Melinda (More Or Less)’ and violinist Darryl Way cuts loose on electric violin and keyboards, notably on such interludes as ‘Ultra Vivaldi’. A host of guest musicians form a brass section to fill out the Curved Air sound.

This excellent nine track CD focuses on a first class British band always full of surprises and capable of bridging the gap between
showmanship and musicianship.

Review: Curved Air made a sensational debut with ‘Air Conditioning’, their first album that shot to Number 8 in the UK charts when it was released back in 1970. Hailed as the first ever Picture Disc, it was both an artistic and commercial success. Here is the original ten track album, now available on CD and featuring Sonja Kristina’s highly distinctive vocals married to the instrumental skills of Francis Monkman (keyboards) and Darryl Way (electric violin). Among the outstanding performances is opening number ‘It Happened Today’, while Sonja is especially sultry on ‘Screw’ and ‘Situations’. More upbeat tunes, such as ‘Stretch’ and ‘Hide and Seek’ show their funky side, while ‘Vivaldi’ is a seven minute opus featuring Darryl’s multi-tracked violin. A classic album that remains essential listening for all serious collectors.

Review: A year after their tumultuous debut with ‘Air Conditioning’, Curved Air released their aptly titled ‘Second Album’ in September 1971. It was an instant success and shot to Number 11 in the UK album charts. It was helped along by the success of ‘Back Street Luv’, the second track that became a smash hit single - it reached Number 4 in the UK singles chart in August that year. Curved Air comprised Sonja Kristina (vocals), who also wrote ‘Young Mother’ with Darryl Way, the band’s outstanding young virtuoso violinist. With Francis Monkman on guitars and Florian Pilkington-Miksa on drums, the band was hailed as one of the most musically skilled of the Prog Rock era. It’s not surprising that Curved Air remain one of the UK’s most popular classic rock groups and the re-issue of ‘Second Album’ complete with detailed CD liner notes and original artwork should delight fans both old and new.
