More information: SUBTERRA is a Chilean neo-prog band that started in 1996 as a Fish-Era MARILLION cover band. The band is composed of six players, including two guitarists. It wasn't until 2001 that the band released their debut "Sombras de Invierno" which, not surprisingly, was in the early MARILLION style, but with vocals in Spanish.

In 2005 the band moved away from their MARILLION influences and produced the album "Cautiverio". With this album they moved in a darker and heavier direction while still retaining the 1970's influence, especially in the keyboards.

In 2007 the live CD, "Abrir la Herida", was released; with the majority of the tracks taken from a 2000 concert, a few tracks from a 2005 concert, and a demo track from 2003.
