More information: Renaissance were at the peak of their popularity when they recorded a series of great concerts, televised and broadcast on TV and radio by the BBC in the 1970s. The group that blended melodic rock with classical music, and featured the outsanding voice of Annie Haslam, were playing at their inspirational best during shows now available on this DVD + 3CD package.

They are seen and heard performing classic songs from their finest albums, such as ‘Ashes Are Burning’ and ‘Turn Of the Cards’over four discs, including the film of a rare BBC’s ‘Sight & Sound - In Concert’ live show from the Golders Green Hippodrome, London in January 8th 1977.

The extensive DVD/CD liner notes include new interviews by Chris Welch with band members Annie Haslam, Jon Camp and Terence Sullivan, who reminisce about the glory days of the group and discuss the superb music they performed on these historic shows.

Expertly restored and remastered. Superb vision, outstanding sound.
